Passionate Aries Solar Eclipse April 8th

On Monday, we will witness a rare and exciting celestial occurrence: the total solar eclipse: this event occurs when the moon passes directly between the Earth and the Sun, completely blocking out the Sun's light for a brief period. 

The sign of Aries will act as our guide, as we descend into a small period of darkness. 

So, warmly, what will we learn in the dark?

The sun aligns with Chiron, the wounded healer, at 19 degrees of Aries. This alignment signifies a need for some of us to break free of our low self-confidence and old swan songs. The wounded healer is sounding the call: it’s time to rise and boil out of old tales of inadequacy, uncertainty, and sorrow. For many, this means that a challenge of pain will arise or has arisen in the past few weeks. The last straw, so to speak. Aries doesn’t deal with hidden messages or disguises; its chaos will be front and center, fiery and destructive. You’ll know it when you see it. 

Aries's wisdom is simple: you must fight for the right things in life, but it shouldn’t kill you to do it. 

While it will be painful in the moment, these spiritual happenings are an opportunity to portal out of these old narratives and patterns in our relationship to ourselves. 

I believe this eclipse is about accepting the totality of our choices. We’ve made our bed, and now Aries wants us to lie in it. The challenge is to be strong and resilient for ourselves. 

No matter what comes your way, witnessing the precise alignment of the Sun, Moon, and Earth gives us an understanding of the beauty and complexity of the universe.
